The YoungArts Foundation is accepting application from  "...emerging artists (ages 15-18 or grades 10-12)." National Young Arts Foundation is an organization that provides serious training, mentorship and scholarship to youth artist in various disciplines. The accolades and awards are substantial and they have good list of alumni, Vanessa Williams, Kerry Washington and others who have become well known in their field. Refer to the link below for more information about the application process, award amounts, etc.  Anyway, I thought that I would let you know in case you know of young person that may be interested in applying.
