The Office of Policy and Management has today released the Request For Proposal for the Nonprofit Collaborative incentive Grant Program. You can access the RFP on either the Department of Administrative Services or the OPM website. Please note the link below. There is $5 million available and the proposal deadline is not until September 22nd. These funds are a result of a CT Nonprofits legislative initiative and are state bonding dollars. Bonding dollars are limited to capital purposes uses. Any nonprofit which collaborates with one or more other nonprofits is eligible. However, those nonprofits having State Purchase of Services contracts will be given higher priority.
CT Monprofits has recommended that their members engage local foundations in conversations related to possible interest in funding consulting, start-up and/or operating costs to facilitate implementation of a specific project.
CT Nonprofits will be happy to forward any questions to OPM in order to seek clarification or an answer.
The RFA for the NCIGP was posted today on the State Contracting Portal.
