DAE Fall/Winter Young Adult Program Seeking Applicants

DAE is pleased to announce that we’re launching a new cohort for our 4-month Computer Science program for adults ages 18 to 28. More information about the program can be found in the attached flyer. 

 

The program launches on Monday, October 30^th and runs until Thursday, March 7^th. Classes will be held at DAE’s downtown New Haven campus Monday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

 

DAE’s programs are offered at no-cost to qualifying residents through funding offered by corporate and municipal partners. To qualify for a seat, participants must meet the following requirements:

1. Reside in the City of New Haven
2. Be eligible to work in the United States
3. Currently be un-employed or under-employed
4. Be between the ages of 18 and 28 as of October 30, 2023
5. Available to attend program Monday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

 

If you or those you work with meet these eligibility criteria and are interested in interviewing for a seat in the program, please visit myDAE.co/adult by Friday, October 6^th at 5:00 p.m to fill out an application. Applicants will receive further communication regarding scheduling an interview by Monday, October 9^th.

 

Relevant deadlines and milestone dates are as follows:

Friday, October 6^th: Deadline for applications

Monday, October 9^th through Friday, October 20^th: Admission interviews at DAE

Friday, October 20^th: Students notified of admission decision

Monday, October 30^th: First day of class
