350.org Internships in CT

350.org, a grassroots global movement working to unite the world around solutions to the climate crisis, is announcing two internships available to residents of Connecticut.  Interns will spend 10-20hrs/week August through September organizing in CT for Moving Planet (moving-planet.org), a global day of action to move beyond fossil fuels on 9/24/11, in order to gain hands-on experience and training in movement building and organizing/activism.  Candidates must be focused, reliable, good communicators, quick learners, and creative.  All internships are unpaid and will require weekly travel to New Haven or Hartford.  To apply, please send resume and letter of interest to [e-mail] by August 1st, 2011.  Applications are considered on first-come, first-served basis until the positions are filled.
