OneWorld Progressive Institute (OneWorld), Inc. is a non-profit, 501(C)3 charitable, voluntary, educational organization created in 1996, and incorporated in 2004. OneWorld's mission is to educate, inform and engage viewers on a range of issues critical to their lives as individuals and members of communities.

We produce educational and informational television programs and conduct community forums focusing on:
Promoting Health Literacy- improving access, teaching advocacy, encouraging personal responsibility and collective action to reduce disparities. Our Health-related programs are produced as "21st Century Conversations."

The Education Agenda programs focus on Improving Education-at-every-level, and on Closing the Education Achievement Gap. OneWorld sponsors critical-thinking forums and oratory competitions mainly in middle schools. We also engage high school students in critical-thinking forums and debate competitions on many levels.

Our Civic Engagement programs seek to encourage strong and positive civic participation as a way to strengthen our communities and break down barriers caused by a lack of understanding and diverse interest. (Civic Engagement)
Our television programs air on AT&T statewide daily; click this link to find them: http://www.nhtv.com/Uverse.html; we are also on Charter Communications - Community Vision21, Cox 15 and several Comcast Channels in various towns: 10, 15, 18, 26, 34. Welcome to GNH Community, glad to have you join us. Members may post information that they think will be of interest to nonprofits, civic organizations, the people they serve or the general public. You may post calendared events on the events page, non-date specific information on the blog, pictures, video or discussions in the forum.

 

Check out the groups created by other members; this is a great place to meet people that share your interest and to ask specific questions. You may request to join as many groups as you wish or start a new group. The creator of a group sets the parameters for membership. If you have a question about a group, please write to the owner (the person who initiated the group).
