Are you a public high school student interested in expanding your art practice? Do you live in or near New Haven County? Are you from a BIPOC background and/or invested in BIPOC representation in the arts?
A four-week intensive led by east coast arts educators and teaching assistants, the 2023 SAP will engage with Artspace’s annual exhibition theme: Geographies! Students will engage in a social practice using themes of landscape, environment, and site, to create multi-media work which will be exhibited at Artspace from August 4, 2023 until September 2, 2023!
The SAP centers arts-based learning to inspire New Haven public highschool students and help them develop a portfolio to advance their future art careers.
Applications opening on April 15, 2023 at www.artspacenewhaven.org on our Opportunities page.
