Description Interest
Neighborhood Housing Services of New Haven was incorporated in 1979 as a neighborhood-based housing rehabilitation organization that focused on affordable housing development. NHS’ mission is to revitalize New Haven’s neighborhoods by developing affordable homeownership opportunities for low-income families; offering financial assistance to homebuyers and homeowners interested in reinvesting in their homes; and promoting community building and organizing in targeted neighborhoods.
