Event Description
A panel discussion with local radio personalities and executives who will discuss the best ways to book your organizations on their programs as studio guests and news sources - organized by The Southern Connecticut Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.
The program will include: Ray Andrewsen, general manager and host of “The Morning Show” on AM 1220 WQUN of Hamden; Joey Bourgoin, a producer for WTIC-AM News Talk 1080 of Hartford; Matt Scott, news anchor at WPLR-FM of Milford, and Naomi Starobin, news director of WSHU-FM, the National Public Radio affiliate in Fairfield.
The fee for the program is $15 for PRSA members; $20 for non-members and $5 for students with a valid college identification card. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Networking starts at 11:30 a.m. To register, please contact Paula Fowler at 203-582-8652 or paula.fowler@quinnipiac.edu.
The Southern Connecticut Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America was formed to advance the public relations profession and the PR professional. The chapter represents a diverse group of mid- to senior-level professionals who are committed to enhancing the practice of public relations in Southern Connecticut. Professionals in the chapter represent advertising agencies, independent consultants, business and industry, government, hospitals and health care organizations, professional associations, education and nonprofit organizations.
