Event Description
Food Day New Haven aims to celebrate real food and advocate for real food change throughout the whole New Haven community!
Food Day New Haven will be a series of events to raise awareness for national and local food issues, from obesity and diet-related diseases to food justice and security to sustainability and agriculture to nutrition and food education to animal welfare to junk food advertising to children.
And of course, delicious, local New Haven cuisine will be featured!

LISC partner GRID Alternatives has been awarded a $249,800,000 Solar for All grant from the EPA to advance renewable and clean energy sources for affordable housing communities across the country. “The grant is an incredible boon to the movement to decarbonize homes and lower energy costs that burden millions of everyday Americans,” said Michael T. Pugh, president and CEO of LISC.
