This event is for Veterans and Veterans families. The National Veterans Council for Legal Redress assist Veterans with getting their less than honorable discharge upgraded with the help of legal services if, the Veteran has a diagnoses of PTSD. The NVCLR also assist Veterans to get increase benefits for service related injuries.
NVCLR has also been involved in helping to change the law as it affects Veterans suffering from PTSD. There was memo that was instituted by former Secretary of State Chuck Hagel that states that " any Veteran that has a diagnoses of PTSD should be given special consideration for a discharge upgrade".
