The 2023 CT Folk Fest & Green Expo will take place on Saturday, September 9 in Edgerton Park in New Haven.
This year's event will feature live music across 2 stages with performances from Southern Avenue, Maria Muldaur & Her Red Hot Bluesiana Band, The Barefoot Movement, Dom Flemons, Lizzie No, Lara Herscovitch & The Highway Philosophers, Jeiris Cook, Afro-Semitic Experience, Beppe Gambetta, The Bargain, Isabella Mendes and Sun Queen.
The Green Expo highlights over 50 handmade artisans, exhibitors and area nonprofits. The Green Kids Village will feature family-friend workshops & activities and The Green New Haven tents will feature a full day of workshops with local organizations, Save The Sound, MakeHaven, Gather New Haven, SeaGrant CT, Reimagining New Haven, CPEN and Urban Resources Initiative. This year, CT Folk has expanded programming to include master classes with Beppe Gambetta, Allen Lowe, Dick Neal, Toto Kisaku and MayaRose Spoken Word.
Free | $20 suggested donation to support CT Folk’s mission to engage, entertain and inspire through diverse folk music, while helping to foster a more socially just and environmentally sustainable community.
