JOBS Act and Crowdfunding
Wednesday 8/29/12
5:30 - 7:30pm
The Grove
71 Orange Street, New Haven, CT 06511
If you represent a business, community bank, credit union, or economic development entity, you are invited to join me for a meeting with Candace Klein, founder and CEO of SoMoLend and partial author of the JOBS Act. She is expanding her Crowdfunding platform to a pilot program in New Haven, and it will be important for us to have a strong group of lenders willing to participate in this program. Please see this recent article in Forbes on Candace:
Candace Klein & SoMoLend Forbes Article
I hope you or someone from your organization can attend next Wednesday and learn about this exciting new way for small businesses and lending partners to do business. Additionally, I know that SoMoLend has available time to meet individually with members of the lending community next Wednesday during the day as desired.
I am excited to help bring SoMoLend to New Haven and help jumpstart access to capital for existing business and entrepreneurs.
Best,
Doug
