"Is there something that you wish you'd been given a second chance at?"
For some members of our community, they are hardly given a first chance to begin with at safety, security, equitable education, guidance, and opportunities to thrive.
We invite you to explore this profound question at our special community screening of the documentary "As We EMERGE: Monologues of the Formerly Incarcerated".
This event is more than just a film screening; it’s a chance to engage with your community, hear impactful stories, and participate in a dialogue that fosters understanding and support for those that have been justice-impacted.
This documentary features the compelling stories of five individuals who have transformed their lives. Their journeys are a testament to the power of first and second chances, as well as the magnitude of the support of a compassionate community.
Don't miss this opportunity to be part of an inspiring and transformative evening. We look forward to seeing you there!
Tickets are FREE, Register on Eventbrite!
*If you’re unable to make it our New Haven screening, please note that there will be future screenings throughout Connecticut.
