Interim Development Officer and Part-time Grant Impact Manager

The New Haven Free Public Library has two part-time job postings available on Idealist.org  

  1. The NHFPL Foundation seeks a part-time interim Development Officer during the 12-week leave of the incumbent.  This position extends from April 15 - July 15 for about 12 hours a week to carry out the continuing Board and donor relations work of the Foundation.  Knowledge of Donor Perfect, preferred. Applications will be considered on a first come, first served basis.  Offers competitive hourly rate.  Refer to Idealist.org Interim Development Officer posting for application details.
  2. NHFPL also seeks a part-time grant impact manager for its innovation space, Ives Squared, located in the downtown branch (133 Elm Street).  This position runs from mid-April 2019 through June 30, 2020 for 20 hours a week with 10 additional hours possible contingent on experience and interest.  The incumbent will help to manage and assess the library's programmatic contributions to the CTNext Innovation Places grant, https://ctnext.com/innovation-places  Seek strong project management and quantitative skills as outlined in the Idealist.org Ives Squared CTNext Project Impact Manager posting.  Offers competitive hourly rate. 

Both positions remain open until filled with preference given to applications received by April 1st.

EPA Awards GRID Alternatives Solar for All Grant

LISC partner GRID Alternatives has been awarded a $249,800,000 Solar for All grant from the EPA to advance renewable and clean energy sources for affordable housing communities across the country. “The grant is an incredible boon to the movement to decarbonize homes and lower energy costs that burden millions of everyday Americans,” said Michael T. Pugh, president and CEO of LISC.
