"2021 Income Tax & Earned Income Tax Credit Awareness Kick Off!

On Feb. 5th, Mayor Justin Elicker will join representatives from the Greater New Haven Family Economic Security Coalition, Connecticut Association for Human Services (CAHS), Internal Revenue Service (IRS), CAANH and the United Way of Greater New Haven (UWGNH) to kick-off the start of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) season!

Community Action Agency of New Haven Inc. continues to build community through equitable food access!

The Community Action Agency of New Haven (CAANH) is pleased to announce the launch of its new HOPE (Healthy Options Pathways to Essential Foods) Voucher program, for our most vulnerable clients who are food insecure. CAANH will provide clients who are at or below 125 % of the federal poverty level nutritious option that will help reduce obesity, hypertension, diabetes, depression, and other medical conditions associated with inferior food options.
