Chuch-Community Week
As part of the Clergy Ambassador Program, we will be hosting a week of miscellaneous events to bridge the gap between the church and the community. Where Do Workers Living on Low Incomes Stand in the Post-Pandemic Economy?
An article in Politico looks at the gains and losses—actual and potential—for lower-wage workers in the current economic climate. LISC and Enterprise Community Partners have released a joint white paper that catalogs how CDFIs have engaged with the capital markets in recent years. Foot Locker Foundation continues its collaboration with LISC to promote youth empowerment through mentoring, career development, and health and wellness activities—all while supporting community-based organizations with diverse leadership. A new $4.5 million commitment will support three annual grant application rounds. Proposals for the first round are due by August 30, 2023.
