Nursery School:
Farnam has operated the popular state licensed child day-care program since 1968. The program provides a safe nurturing environment and a variety of creative learning experiences for children ages 3 to 5 that contribute to the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of the total child.

After School Program:
Homework help, team sports, arts & crafts, game room, field trips, dance & drama and more for children ages 7 to 12.

Saturday Program:
In-house Biddy Basketball league, arts & crafts, game room and other enrichment activities for children ages 7 to 14.

Youth Leadership Program:
Designed to develop the leadership skills of children ages 12 to 15 to help make their neighborhood a better place.

Evening Teen Program:
Basketball teams and leagues, game room, computer lab, homework help and weightlifting. Teens ages 13 through 18 plan and implement special events, community service projects, group & peer discussions and educational activities. The evening teen program meets Monday through Friday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Summer Youth Employment Program:
In partnership with Youth@Work, The Farnam Neighborhood House serves as a worksite for teens ages 14 through 17 providing on-the-job work experience, training and counseling. In addition, The Farnam Neighborhood House provides a comprehensive and coordinated family focused programs which serve families and, through them, their entire neighborhoods.

Social Programs:
Special Interest Groups, support groups, volunteer opportunities, cultural festivities, "Pot Luck" suppers, neighborhood events and food, clothing & toy drives.

Community Gardening:
In cooperation with the New Haven Land Trust and Community Greenspace, Farnam encourages neighbors to work together, growing flowers and vegetables while beautifying their surroundings.
