Description Interest
The Children's Leadership Training program is a class that meets once a week for 20 weeks. Children attend this class while their parents or caregivers attend a civic engagement class. The goals and curriculum of this class are advocacy training for the adults. For the children there is a community and leader curriculum that is kid friendly. The children learn about change, diversity, tolerance, and many more topics. There is a community project at the end of the class which involves helping out or expressing one self in the community. The meetings run from January until June in the greater New Haven area.
