The Girls’ Future Firefighters Camp is a fairly new, BIPOC-led non-profit with a culturally competent staff and board reflective of the diverse community we serve. Our firefighter career-exposure services are free and equitably accessible to community members who have been disproportionately impacted by structural racism and related disparities. Girls’ Future Firefighter Camp addresses the opportunity gaps that exist for women in training, education, and sustained-wage employment to enter, thrive and remain in the firefighter profession.
