HAVEN Free Clinic provides quality, comprehensive health care free of charge to uninsured adults living in Fair Haven. As a student-run clinic, we educate and inspire the next generation of leaders in community health through direct clinical experience on a healthcare team, fostering a lifelong commitment to primary care. In partnership with Fair Haven Community Health Center and Yale University, we fill a critical gap in our healthcare system by conducting over 1100 visits each year for individuals with nowhere else to turn. More than 250 health professions students collaborate in teams to support all aspects of our patients’ wellness, from reproductive health to nutrition counseling to legal assistance.
