The American Lung Association funds educational programs including asthma management at schools {nearly 7 million children have asthma}, along with Better Breathers clubs and smoking cessation groups, advocacy efforts which include air quality and research at Yale. Please step up in the Fight For Air. Join the American Lung Association & compete in a challenge unlike any other! The Fight for Air Climb: Scale 360 State Street is a unique “vertical marathon” that will allow participants from CT & surrounding areas to race, run, or walk up 32 floors! Racers & elite runners will climb first, followed by walking participants. Finally, firefighters from all over New England will climb over 400 stairs in FULL GEAR. Join as a participant or volunteer & help combat lung disease one step at a time!
