PEP’s mission is to conduct peace education promoting the advent of a harmonious planetary commonwealth through the convergence of the worldwide movements for disarmament, social justice, and environmental stewardship. The group sends out articles and other peace resources worldwide via its Peacenews.org website, blog, and daily email summary. Its PEPeace.org website provides a guide to the activities of PEP and the U.S. peace and environmental movement. Prior to the advent of the Internet PEP mailed over 10 million articles to educators and organizers to help them better understand the underlying issues of international conflict and nonviolent paths to peace.
