Event Description

Thank you for helping Youth Rights Media turn 10! Join the celebration at our Youth Showcase on December 11th.

As many of you know, Youth Rights Media began with the goal of educating youth about their rights -- and responsibilities -- in encounters with police. This year marks the 10th anniversary of Youth Rights Media, and I can think of no better way to commemorate the occasion than by highlighting a new, short documentary our youth are working on, aimed at improving youth-police relations.  This film is made possible by a mini-grant from the Youth Development and Training Resource Center.

Please join us Tuesday, December 11, from 6-7:30pm, at our space on 77 Willow Street, 2nd fl., in New Haven, as we showcase the short documentary and other new work created by young people in our fall Media Arts program. Youth from YRM's Intro. to Film, Advanced Film and Music workshops will be on hand to share and discuss their media creations. Refreshments will be served. Hope to see you here!
