The Institute for Social and Cultural Practice (IIPSOCULTA), in collaboration with New York and New Haven community organizations, is looking for a volunteer this August and September to work as Merchandise and Fundraising Coordinator for the Families Without Borders Tour 2010.
There is information about the Families Without Borders Tour at the "La Casa Rosa" website:
www.lacasarosausa.blogspot.com.
IIPSOCULTA is looking for someone who can make a compromise to attend 4-6 performances in both New York City and New Haven from August to September and be responsible for the sale of merchandise that we sell during the performances in order to raise money for the organization. Our budget is looking to raise $1000 in donations and merchandise sales as a total for all performances. We will be selling t-shirts, artisan items from Mexico, and asking for general donations. All performances are free.
If you are interested in this volunteer opportunity, or if you know somebody who might be interested, please contact Stephanie at stephanie.iipoculta@gmail.com.
Thank you for your interest and support.
