The Arts Council of Greater New Haven is please to announce the launch of a new lunch social for writers and literary fans. Instead of eating lunch at your office or in a restaurant bring it over to 70 Audubon Street. We encourage writers of all levels and experience to join us for the talk.
Local writer Daisy Abreu is the first guest speaker and will talk on March 20 at 12:10pm about spending the month of October (2013) at the Vermont Studio Center, where she focused on her creative writing. Daisy has since left her job as deputy director of communications at the Town Green Special Services District in order to pursue writing full time. Daisy will talk about her experiences at the Vermont Studio Center, her decision to leave her job to focus on writing, what she’s working on, and all such related things.
