The Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce is hosting Connecticut’s premier business to business expo, the Big Connect, presented by Comcast Business. This year’s theme is: Finding Your Groove in a New E.R.A.: Emerge, Reboot, Adapt. With its new hybrid model, the expo takes place online on Wednesday, November 17th in virtual sessions and in person on Thursday, November 18th from 9am to 4pm at the Omni New Haven Hotel at Yale.
The Big Connect offers attendees professional development workshops, engagement with the community, and networking opportunities entirely for free. There is an array of insightful workshops & interactive presentations to participate in, including the Nonprofit Stars Align Awards Breakfast. Grow with Google, a confirmed speaker for the 2021 expo, will present “Get Your Local Business on Google Search & Maps” and “Make Your Website Work.” David A. O’Brien, President of WorkChoice Solutions, will also present on “Leading in the New Era: A Guide for Increasing Leadership & Organizational Clarity.” Michael Jai White, the prestigious actor, writer, director, world champion martial artist, and founder of Jaigantic Studios, is a morning keynote speaker, joining the diverse and informative lineup of speakers. Other workshops include “Avoiding the Impostor Syndrome,” “How to Start Cannabusiness,” “Entrepreneurship,” “Networking in an Authentic Way,” and more.
