Event Description

2nd Annual Sound Mind-Sound Body Community Walk to raise money for efforts that promote the important connection between good mental and phsysical health.

Registration and Lunch Celebration at Leon's Restaurant. Walk takes place in Long Wharf Park.

Individual and Team prizes and live a cappella sea shanty singing by The Johnson Girls and the Sound School's S.S. Chanteens.

 

ENTRY FEES

(All fees include complimentary SMSB T-shirt)

Individual:

$25.00-Minimum donation
$50.00-Donation includes brunch at Leon’s and special prizes

Team:
Number of participants x $50 = Team Entry Fee

All teams enjoy brunch at Leon’s and team prizes.

Special Team Incentive

All Teams that raise $1000 or more will receive 50% of their total earnings for a project that promotes good mental and physical health.

EPA Awards GRID Alternatives Solar for All Grant

LISC partner GRID Alternatives has been awarded a $249,800,000 Solar for All grant from the EPA to advance renewable and clean energy sources for affordable housing communities across the country. “The grant is an incredible boon to the movement to decarbonize homes and lower energy costs that burden millions of everyday Americans,” said Michael T. Pugh, president and CEO of LISC.
