Event Description
Teach Tank
11 am & 1 pm
Schooner Inc. will bring the Long Island Sound to the Museum in a touch tank. Children will learn firsthand how scientists study and handle marine animals. [Note: Schooner Inc. will lead the same class twice during the day, at 11 am and again at 1 pm.]
Paint Your Own Sailboat
All day
Children will construct and paint their own miniature sailboats.
Sketching Session
All day
Ship models from the Museum’s collection will be on display for children to sketch from.
$5/child; Adults Free; Free for Members
Pre-registration suggested, but not necessary.
