Tackling food justice and sustainability in New Haven: come to listen, learn, and collaborate with local non-profits, government bodies and churches.
Friday 12th, 6.30pm Combined presentation by DataHaven and CARE about the recent surveys they have both completed, followed by reactions from community organizations and a time for crowd Q&A + DINNER
Saturday 13th, 8.30am: BREAKFAST, followed by 'People who Grow Food' and 'People who Serve Food', followed by break out sessions to network, collaborate, and organize.
Saturday 13th, late morning: 'People who Organize Around Food'. Mark Firla will be giving an overview of the Summer Meals program and asking people to help organize the expansion of the supper program, to be piloted in New Haven Public Schools + LUNCH
