Event Description
Join the SCSU community for a special screening of the film Newtown, which chronicles the aftermath of the deadliest mass shooting of schoolchildren in American history: a shooting that took the lives of 20 elementary school children and six educators in Newtown, Conn., on December 14, 2012.
The film screening will be followed by panel discussion and Q&A featuring director Kim Snyder and David Wheeler, whose youngest son Ben was one of the 20 children killed in the Dec. 14, 2012, attack at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
