Wallingford Public Library is screening the documentary film Watermark on Earth Day, April 22 at 6:00 p.m. Immediately following the film David James and Peter Picone from Quinnipiac River Watershed Association, Alecia Charamut from Connecticut River Watershed Council, and Torrence Downs, from Connecticut River Gateway Commission will lead a discussion on how water shapes the landscape, and is in turn, shaped by society and its relationship with water.
The film was written and directed by Jennifer Baichwal with Edward Burtynsky, and produced by Nick De Pencier.
This program is presented in honor of Earth Day which is an annual event celebrated across the globe to bring awareness and support for the environment.
