Wallingford Public Library joins the national celebration of poetry’s vital place in our culture with a special program on April 17 from 6 – 8 pm. The public is invited to Celebrate the World of Poetry, an event sponsored by the library’s poetry group Saturday Mornings with Poetry. The event will feature recitation of original poems, live music, singing, and refreshments in a café-style setting in the library’s community room.
The general public is welcome to this free event. Advance registration is appreciated. For more information please contact the library at 203-265-6754 or online at wallingfordlibrary.org.
