The novel has been named winner of the National Jewish Book Award for fiction, and the 2012 COSTA First Book Award. Program is presented by Women’s Philanthropy of the Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven. The novel transposes the love triangle of Edith Wharton’s The Age of Innocence to the modern-day Jewish community of Hampstead Garden Suburb.
