Event Description
This is not your ordinary spelling bee! The 4th Annual New Haven Reads Spelling Bee is a fun-filled evening of costumes, spelling and laughter in support of New Haven Reads literacy programs. Teams of three work together to spell the words, write them down, and hold the words up for the judges. Audience members are very welcome too! It is free to attend with a suggested donation of $5. There will be light hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, a mini-bee for the audience and door prizes. Join us! Doors open at 6pm, the Bee starts at 7pm.
