Event Description
AIDS Walk New Haven is a 5k walk around the New Haven Green area to help fundraise for members on the New Haven Mayor's Task Force on AIDS, a citywide advisory board dedicated to supporting those affected by HIV/AIDS in the greater New Haven area. Our goals are to raise money, increase public awareness, promote prevention through advocacy, and unite the Yale-New Haven community against stigma, apathy and infection!
Instead of the traditional 5k walk, this year's AIDS Walk New Haven will happen virtually on your terms in light of the ongoing pandemic. The virtual walk is scheduled to take place on the weekend of April 30 - May 2. After registering, you will get to decide how your walk is conducted, the time, location, and whether to walk it alone or with friends and family. We need your help to support our efforts in stomping out the stigma against HIV/AIDS!
