Event Description

“Vaccine from Start to Finish: Understanding the Business of Groundbreaking
Science. Are We Winning the Race to Herd Immunity?”

The record-breaking development of COVID-19 vaccines is a credit to the bioscience industry. Hear from a panel of local experts in the industry talk about what it takes to have a transformative impact.  Attendees will:

  • Gain insight into how the bioscience community launched the vaccines for emergency use.
  • Learn more about the clinical trial process.
  • Hear the latest updates about vaccine efficacy and how long the vaccine will last.

Then we will speak with scientists and health care professionals about the race to reach herd immunity. Are we winning the race to herd immunity? What is a realistic threshold for herd immunity? How do we reach groups that are hesitant to trust the vaccine? What is the timeline for full FDA approval of the vaccines…and how will new variants be addressed?

Join us for a live, in-person event, robust programming, and networking at Amarante’s!
