Event Description

The Arts Council of Greater New Haven is one of nine arts agencies   (DRSO- designated regional service organizations) that will be administering  a re-grant program for the state in FY16.     Intended for small arts organizations (budgets under $300,000)  non-profits producing arts projects,  artists seeking funding for arts projects that benefit the public,  and parent-teacher organizations, this program will make grants of up to $5,000 available through a competitive process.   The Arts Council will present a Grant Info Session on this grant opportunity on Monday, June 22 at 3:30 pm.

 

Regional Initiative Grant Deadline:   July 23, 2015.

EPA Awards GRID Alternatives Solar for All Grant

LISC partner GRID Alternatives has been awarded a $249,800,000 Solar for All grant from the EPA to advance renewable and clean energy sources for affordable housing communities across the country. “The grant is an incredible boon to the movement to decarbonize homes and lower energy costs that burden millions of everyday Americans,” said Michael T. Pugh, president and CEO of LISC.
