Event Description
Gateway Community College will hold its annual Open House from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2019.
Open House offers prospective students and their families an opportunity to get to know more about the academic community, campus, and programs. Prospective students can tour the campus, learn about academic departments, and meet professors and staff.
GCC offers courses in liberal arts and sciences, technical, career associate degree and certificate programs, and courses leading to transfer, employment, and lifelong learning. Student success is supported through stimulating learning opportunities, innovative teaching, support services, and co-curricular activities.
The campus serves local businesses and the workforce through the GREAT Center, which provides classrooms and labs for customized training programs to meet the needs of the region.
The Gateway Garage and Temple Street Garage offer free parking. Gateway is within walking distance from Union Station with access to Amtrak. GCC is also within a quarter mile of multiple bus stops. Secure bike racks are located within the Gateway Garage, which is located on Crown Street.
