The Junior League of Greater New Haven is proud to announce our 12th Annual Wine Tasting and Silent Auction on May 7, 2016!

This is our 2nd year hosting Race and Taste and 12th year hosting our annual fundraiser with a wine tasting and silent auction! We are pleased to announce this year's Kentucky Derby affair will take place on the first Saturday in May at the New Haven Country Club. The club's gorgeous grounds, elegant interior, and sunny veranda make a perfect setting to enjoy the Best Two Minutes in Sports!

 

This year's event will feature:

A live showing of the Kentucky Derby race on two 80" big screens with surround sound!

An incredible wine tasting featuring selections carefully made by Mt. Carmel Wine and Spirits of Hamden, CT! Purchases of wine from the event will be rewarded with an elegant Junior League of Greater New Haven stemware!

A raffle wager to bet on your favored contender in the race!

A fabulous array of silent auction items from area businesses that will be sure to keep you bidding! Items featured include spa packages, luxury sports car rentals, coveted theater tickets, award winning restaurant dinners, fitness and training sessions, Father's Day gift baskets, and gift certificates for family fun that will delight your children!

JLGNH is Proud to Announce our Celebrity Co-Host!

DJ Mike Lapitino of 99.1 WPLR will be serving as master of ceremonies with the League's own Kristin Parenteau! Come have a sip of wine and raise money for the League's community work with Lappy!

EPA Awards GRID Alternatives Solar for All Grant

LISC partner GRID Alternatives has been awarded a $249,800,000 Solar for All grant from the EPA to advance renewable and clean energy sources for affordable housing communities across the country. “The grant is an incredible boon to the movement to decarbonize homes and lower energy costs that burden millions of everyday Americans,” said Michael T. Pugh, president and CEO of LISC.
