Join tour leader Robert W. Grzywacz on this walking tour around the Green for a discussion of the preservation skirmishes which have marked the development of downtown New Haven, including the citywide debate over the demolition of the New Haven State House in the late 1800s. This tour is offered as a part of “The Preservation Movement Then and Now.”
This tour is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is appreciated. Participants are asked to meet at the Amistad Memorial in front of the New Haven City Hall.
