Event Description

June 3-5 will be a chance to shop local inside Union Station with the help of Project Storefronts. An Indoor Street Fair takes place Wednesday through Friday evenings from 4-7pm in the West Lobby of 50 Union Avenue, adjacent to the bus depot.

We are encouraged by the support Park New Haven has shown to the area’s creative entrepreneurs. A diverse community of makers and sellers will populate this fair, and they are more excited than ever about New Haven as a cultural destination where people can enjoy stopping and shopping.

Products to be sold include new and vintage fashions, jewelry, home accessories, body and bath products, and more. Production support comes from New Haven’s Women Entrepreneurs Network and the Nutmeg Collective, representing top Etsy retailers statewide.

What Recipe Brings You and Your Family Comfort?

This week, in honor of the Thanksgiving season and holiday cooking in general, we're revisiting a question we asked our OneLISC crew last year. The responses are inspiring and delicious: What recipe/food/dining experience brings you and your family comfort? Can you share a memory that is tied to the dish or experience?

In South Phoenix, Tending the Indigenous Seeds of a More Nourishing World

Maria Parra Cano and the other members of the Cihuapactli Collective, an Indigenous- and women-run organization in South Phoenix, are growing cultural, spiritual and physical nourishment, literally from the ground up. In recognition of Native American Heritage Month and the Thanksgiving season, we are pleased to share their story.
