Event Description

Somewhat Off the Wall is The Arts Council’s annual fundraising event that showcases original art by the region’s accomplished artists. For $100 you can walk away with a photograph, painting, drawing, handcrafted textiles, jewelry or pottery. The artists each generously donate three works of art. Guests literally select their choice off the wall when their ticket number is drawn.

Preceding the drawing, the artists, guests and AC staff mingle in a beautiful downtown New Haven space with wine and assorted hors d’oeuvres donated by local restaurants.

This year the event will take place in the lobby of 360 State Street in downtown New Haven. The artwork can be previewed starting Aug. 28th.

Party begins at 5pm
Drawing begins at 7pm
