Event Description
Community Action Agency of New Haven (CAANH) is holding its 1st Passport to Prosperity Walk & Activity Day on October 4th at 419 Whalley Avenue, New Haven. The day kicks off with a 3 mile walk at 10am and continues with games, food, music and vendors until 4pm. The purpose for this event is to increase conversations and inspire action regarding opportunities and prosperity for low-income and working class families.
Passport to Prosperity is CAANH’s program that provides a network of comprehensive, client- centered services to CAANH's youth and families. The ‘passport’ serves as a catalyst for acquiring knowledge, skills, and partnerships that improve lives and helps clients move toward self-sufficiency.
The mission of CAANH is to offer pathways to prosperity to those in poverty in the Greater New Haven area through Service, Collaboration, Advocacy, and Knowledge Generation.
