Event Description

Amity & Woodbridge Historical Society we will be hosting a joint program with Massaro Farm.  Enjoy demonstrations of “cold hearth” cooking as we make butter and fresh ice cream with locally grown ingredients.  We will jointly celebrate Massaro’s Centennial with an exhibition of the family’s historical documents, photos and authentic farm tools. We’ll also be highlighting our kitchen herb garden through an essential oils workshop on the porch at 3pm where you can learn about every day uses for common essential oils. Our horse barn, which houses a large collection of antique tools will also be open. Please join us for this fun-filled afternoon to celebrate historic Woodbridge farming.  As usual attending the open house is free and open to the public (there will be a suggested $8 donation to take part in the workshop and you will take home a natural bug repellent for your garden).
