Event Description

The New Haven Tree Lighting presented by Peoples Bank is a free event kicks off the holiday season in the downtown area. The annual celebration geared to the young and young at heart takes place on the city's historic Green and features live performances and a variety of children’s activities. Children can visit with Santa, take photos with Elsa and Anna, ride the carousel, ferris wheel or a horse-drawn carriage and enjoy holiday crafts. The evening is highlighted by the illumination of the tree. Food and refreshments available.
