Bike share is coming to New Haven! New Haven bike share will help provide more transportation options for people who live, work, study, and play in New Haven.
Our first public outreach meeting is Monday, December 19th, 6:00 - 8:00 PM in the Performing Arts Area of the New Haven Free Public Library on 133 Elm Street. We will be introducing bike share and collecting community input on how to design the system to ensure it is successful and accessible to everyone.
Bike share is a shared public bike system. Nearby examples include Citi Bike in New York City, Hudson Bike Share in Hoboken, and Hubway in Boston. Bike share offers a convenient, affordable, fun, and healthy way to commute to work or school, run errands, and exercise.
