Event Description
As part of Women’s History Month, the Junior League of Greater New Haven will be hosting a presentation about a “Hidden New Haven.” Join us to hear more about the start of the Junior League of Greater New Haven and the flowering of philanthropy in the 1920’s. Learn about what organizations Junior League members, and their mothers, were involved with and where they are today. The doors will open to the public for the presentation at 6:30 p.m. Join us for a great evening in celebration of our foremothers and the Junior League of Greater New Haven’s 90th anniversary!

LISC partner GRID Alternatives has been awarded a $249,800,000 Solar for All grant from the EPA to advance renewable and clean energy sources for affordable housing communities across the country. “The grant is an incredible boon to the movement to decarbonize homes and lower energy costs that burden millions of everyday Americans,” said Michael T. Pugh, president and CEO of LISC.
