Guest speaker: Linda Friedlaender, Curator of Education at the Yale Center for British Art. Free and open to the public.
The JCL recruits, trains, places, and supports volunteer reading partners in our local public schools, meeting one-to-one with children to share the pleasures of reading and conversation while enjoying learning in a relaxed, nurturing environment. Students benefit from the interaction with a caring adult, learning together. No previous experience needed.
