A lunchtime series:
The Community Foundation of Greater New Haven, Ludwig Center for Community & Economic Development, Yale School of Management, and the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale are sponsoring an Inclusive Economic Development Speaker Series. The seven-session series aims to facilitate collaboration and investigation amongst the Yale and Greater New Haven community into innovative, inclusive, and democratic community economic development strategies. Models of interest include worker cooperatives, makerspaces, racial justice-oriented approaches, participatory budgeting, community land trusts, and environmentally-focused economic policy initiatives. Lunch will be served.
The series is a program of CITY Studio New Haven: an initiative that aims to create a platform for members of local institutions, the New Haven community, and Yale students to co-create solutions that improve New Haven for all who live and work here.
