Coming soon to New Haven, Arts In CT is proud to present the Tony Award-winning musical "In The Heights"
at the Wilbur Cross High School Auditorium on Friday, August 3rd and Saturday, August 4th at 7:00 pm.
Winners of four Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Original Score, and Best Choreography in 2008, "In
The Heights" is set over the course of three days involving
characters in the largely Hispanic-American neighborhood of
Washington Heights in New York City.
Sponsored by the Community Foundation of Greater New
Haven and Milford Bank, a no-cost camp for teens brings in the cast of "In The Heights," made up primarily of teenagers from the Greater New Haven area.
"In The Heights" made its debut in the state of Connecticut in
2005 and then hit Broadway three years later. Audiences can now see this magical musical come full circle in the Nutmeg State.
Tickets for "In The Heights" are $15 for adults and $10 for children and seniors. Tickets can be purchased online at www.brownpapertickets.com and www.artsinct.org/heights.
